ROYALTON – Keith L. “Huge Daddy” Pursell, 55, of Royalton, handed away at 6:06 p.m., Monday, October 4, 2021, at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.

Keith was born on February 18, 1966, in Pinckneyville to James R. “Jim” and Janet (Gibner) Pursell. He married his beloved spouse, Brenda Clayton, on Might 2, 1988, in Paducah, KY. She survives of Royalton.

Keith was hardworking and devoted man who was an ASE Licensed Grasp Technician and had a ardour for all issues having to do with automobiles; particularly MOPAR. In 1994 he started his personal auto restore and towing enterprise in his house and finally relocated to the dpersonaltpersonal store in 2000. He proudly served the Southern Illinois space for 25 years earlier than promoting the store in 2018. Even in “retirement” he ran Pursell Auto Repair from his household’s house; Taking Fantastic care of the auto restore wants of all his shut Family and pals.

He was a tenacious man who loved educating, mentoring, And inspiring many youthful people to enter The sector of auto mechanics. In his spare time, he loved spending time outdoors tenting at Crab Orchard, Little Grassy and Arrowhead Campgrounds Inside The world. He loved antiquing with Brenda, Looking for espresso associated gadgets and attending bluegrass festivals All by way of the place Inside the US.

Keith was A particular person of God and a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church in Power.

He was preceded in demise by his father, Jim Pursell and beloved aunt, Thelma Spencer.
